The subject has to be evocative and relevant, so I concentrate on people, places and events.
The treatment has to be strong and vibrant, so I go for oil on canvas and push the palate into Fauvist territory.
The value is in the quality, so I draw on half a century of experience and use all means at my disposal to achieve this end.
